Andre wants to collect adventures. She has travelled a great deal and, speaking fluent French and Italian, she has worked abroad for many years. Now back in the UK, she lives in South London and teaches English as a Foreign Language principally to European businessmen. She is also a member of a close harmony singing trio. A keen walker, she has trekked through the Andes, Tasmania and the Dolomites. Whilst on an ice-flow on the edge of a cliff in the Dolomites, she was heard to tell her colleagues to "use their arms like an ice-axe" and, as she firmly believes that anybody can do anything if they set their mind to it, she is particularly inspired that the Relay involves ordinary people.
