Pom Oliver    Age 44 Pom says that she wants use her last bit of energy before the menopause in getting to the North Pole. Twenty years ago, she hitch-hiked from Cape Town to Sydney where she settled and worked as a film producer for many years. Now married and living in Buckinghamshire, she is continuing her career as a producer and financier of films worldwide. She also continues to travel and has driven the length of the Karakoram Highway in a truck. Part of the attraction for her of being in an all-female team is that she believes that it is less egotistical than if it contained men.
