Sarah Jones    Age 28
Sarah believes that life is too short to pass anything by. This feeling has been increased through her recent work as a volunteer for the Terence Higgins Trust and on an AIDS-related research project. Before settling as a PE teacher at a girls' school in Maidstone, she has had a variety of occupations, including that of a potter, windowcleaner and a teacher of English to foreigners. She also reached the national schools cross-country finals and has run the London Marathon twice. What appeals to her most about the Relay is the teamwork involved in working on something so exciting and she still cannot quite believe that she is about to walk on water!
